The BCnet or Blue Carbon Network is a voluntary national partnership among agencies and organizations which share a vision of a sustainable future of the Philippines’ coastal environment and its people.

In, BCnet, decisions and actions are informed by coordinated, comprehensive and sustained research and observations.

BCnet is organized and implemented around biogeographic areas in the country. Its broad scope includes the biophysical, social sciences, and economics needed to address critical natural and socioeconomic issues related to seagrass beds and mangroves, focused on their blue carbon and other ecosystem services.
